: The bathroom was clean and we had plenty of hot water.
: The room was really shabby, windows wouldn’t open and there was a smell to the room. This motel definitely needs renovation. There were no extra amenities at all.

  : Price.
: You pay for what you get! Cheap cheap. Really only slept there so it served that purpose.

Traveller Type: young couple
: Clean comfy beds.large room with fitted carpet.good heater so warmed room quickly.
: Very damp smell in hot water from shower only warm.curtains hanging off rails. Brown walls very dark and dismal. Filthy windows and peeling paintwork outside. Outdoor chairs filthy and pool has not been in use for at least 2 years. Whole place needs updating or at least major maintainance.

: The room was ok and bathroom was clean
: Check in took one hour as they said they did not have our reservation. Showed E Mail confirming reservation and payment had been made in full. Young lady was reluctant to accept E Mail confirmation and as we could not get through to she finally gave us a key to our room.

: Property is in serious need of repair, many problems. Seems like the property, which used to be family owned and very well maintained, is now just being ignored completely. Even the grass is overgrown. If we could have cancelled out stay we definitely would have. Almost felt like it is being used as a weekly low end rental. Would never book this hotel again. We even emptied out car of any luggage, fearful that the car may have been broken into. Also the room had a terrible smell
  : Just about everything

Traveller Type: solo traveller
: Location good for intent of visit. 5-night stay was quiet, as few guests evident at any time! Attractive landscaping.
: Active staff appeared to be one person, so "office" seldom manned; this appears to be OK as there is no way to contact the "office" except to be lucky enough to walk down and catch the "one person". Owners obviously have little funding for maintenance and common amenities. Visible area that once was guest lounging area now a "dump" for miscellaneous furniture. Exterior upkeep for show only (example: overhead fascia painted on exterior, peeling on interior. Room: (1) no phone/no tissues/no microwave/ un-defrosted minifridge w/filthy door seal; (2) sink and shower handle cartridges are long overdue for replacement (almost unusable); (3) missing grout in bath area; (4) old carpet, peeling wallpaper, hanging baseboard heating covers. The Weathervane is no longer my (or my family's) choice for a motel.
